In an atmospherically decorated space of 175 m², with room for about 140 people, you create an event that matches your desires.

At Aloha Paradise, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday atmosphere, refreshing drinks, tasty snacks, and an atmospheric summer decor with a beautiful view of the Keerdok. The ideal setting to enjoy together, toast, and create beautiful moments. Our summer bar can be exclusively rented for private parties up to 150 people. From a cozy teambuilding to a networking event: everything is possible.
Location & accessibility
In the heart of Flanders
Whether you come by public transport or by car, Van der Valk Hotel Mechelen is easily accessible. Since the hotel is located in a car-free zone, you can park in Parking Keerdok (Indigo) or in the underground parking DOK+ (by reservation).
For guests who are less mobile, it is possible to be dropped off at the 'Kiss & Ride' parking, close to the hotel. You can reach this location via the Armand Becquet Bridge. Then keep left to the end (see photo). Long-term parking is only available in the parking facilities mentioned above.

What types of events can I organize at Van der Valk Hotel Mechelen, and for how many people?
From meetings, conferences, and corporate events to receptions, parties, and weddings. With 11 multifunctional rooms and flexible layouts, we accommodate both small gatherings and larger groups of up to 500 people. We adapt our rooms to your type of event.
Is there audiovisual material in the halls?
A successful event is all about atmosphere and flawless technical execution. As an experienced event partner, we provide lighting, sound, DJ installation, technical support, a dance floor, and a stage. All our rooms are equipped with modern equipment, including a soundbar, ClickShare, HDMI, and flip chart. Additional equipment such as a microphone or mobile screens is available on request. During your event, there is also a technical point of contact for support with audiovisual equipment, presentations, music, and other technical needs.
Do you provide catering and take into account allergies and dietary requirements?
Yes, our own chefs create custom catering packages, from coffee breaks and lunch buffets to receptions and dinners, each time with a fish, meat, and vegetarian option. Please inform us of allergies and intolerances two weeks in advance, and we will take them into account.
Can I arrange or decorate the room myself?
We adjust the setup to your event, from theater to boardroom or dinner setup. During parties, we are happy to provide decorations, such as flowers or specialized menus. In consultation, you can also bring your own decoration or materials.
Can participants stay overnight afterwards?
Yes. The hotel has 125 rooms, ideal for multi-day events or guests from afar. Agree on the rates for your group in advance with your contact person.
Where can I park?
The area around the hotel is car-free. Parking is available at Indigo Parking Keerdok (Antonia Wolversstraat 1, 2800 Mechelen) or in the DOK+ building (access via the Armand Bequet Bridge, address: Rode Kruisplein 1, Mechelen). The last parking is only available by reservation.
