Zomerbar Aloha Paradise

During the summer months, you can enjoy the trendy summer bar 'Aloha Paradise' at Van der Valk Hotel Mechelen!

In good weather, our summer bar opens this year on Friday, May 21 and we stay open until mid-September. Our summer bar at the Keerdok is the ideal place to relax with friends and family, enjoy the sun, and celebrate summer in style. Be surprised by refreshing drinks, tasty snacks, and an atmospheric summer setting.

Opening Hours

In May, June, and September, the summer bar is open from Thursday to Sunday. In July and August, the summer bar is open every day in good weather.

  • Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

  • Saturday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM

  • Sunday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

  • In case of rain or bad weather, the summer bar will remain closed.

Accessibility

Park your car safely in Keerdok Parking just a 3-minute walk from the summer bar. There is a bicycle parking area next to the summer bar. 

Payment

In the summer bar, we ask you to order and pay via a QR code, after which our bartender will bring your order to the table. 

Events

During the summer, a monthly event with a DJ takes place on the first Friday of the month, from 4 PM to 10 PM. Additionally, we will show the matches of the Red Devils during the World Cup on a big screen.

  • Sunday, June 21: World Cup football Belgium - Iran with DJ Hans

  • Friday, June 26: 'Aftermoon' in collaboration with Moon Gin with DJ Simply Chandler (extra event)

  • Friday, July 3: 'Noche Mexicana en la Playa' with DJ Sime

  • Friday, August 7: 'White Party'

  • Friday, September 4: 'End of Summer Party' with DJ LA LUXURY

Private Events

Our summer bar is also available for private events. With our various drink and catering packages, you can enjoy a successful event in a summer setting without worry. Contact our Meeting & Events Coordinator for a customized quote via events@hotel-mechelen.be.
