Check-in

Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM unless you have chosen an early check-in. We kindly request you and/or your guest(s) to present a valid ID at check-in. At check-in, all hotel guests must be 18 years or older. Children under 18 must stay under parental supervision.

Guarantee

We guarantee the reservation until 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. If you arrive later than 6:00 PM, we kindly request you to contact the hotel reception.

Deposit

For suites, apartments, and The Loft, we require a cash deposit of €200 upon arrival, which will be refunded upon departure if everything is in order.

Food & Drink

Restaurant Ouwen Dok is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For a snack and a drink, you can visit our cozy Bar Bernard. More information about opening hours, menus, and making a reservation can be found here.

Parking

Park your car easily and closely in the paid Parking Keerdok (Indigo). In addition to 516 parking spaces, there are also various charging points and fast-charging points available. Via the bicycle and pedestrian bridge, you are within 2 minutes at Van der Valk Hotel Mechelen. 24 hours parking: €12.50

Recently, we also have a few own parking spaces in the n the underground parking of DOK+, the new building across from the hotel. The entrance is right next to the hotel (accessible via the Armand Becquet Bridge) and the parking operates with license plate recognition. Request a parking spot in advance via our reception and provide your license plate in time. Rate per day: €15.

Note: you cannot drive up to the entrance, smart cameras monitor this and automatically issue fines. Only taxis are allowed to drive up to the door. If you still want to drive to the entrance, register your license plate in advance via this link.
