Christmas buffet

On Wednesday, December 24th, we will be serving an extensive luxury buffet full of hot and cold dishes. End the evening in style with our delicious dessert buffet. The price includes a glass of champagne, house wine, Stella on tap, soft drinks, water, coffee, and tea.
Reservation is confirmed upon payment. Cancellation is free of charge until November 30th; from December 1st, the Christmas buffet is non-refundable.

On Thursday, December 25th, we warmly welcome you to our festive Christmas brunch. Let yourself be pampered with an extensive luxury buffet: a wide selection of cold and hot dishes, followed by a refined dessert buffet.
The price includes cava, house wine, Stella on tap, soft drinks, water, coffee, and tea. Cancellation is free of charge until November 30th. From December 1st, the brunch is no longer refundable. However, you can still sign up for the waiting list kan wel nog.

New Year's Eve buffet (sold out)
Wednesday 31 December 2025 from 7:00 PM to 11 PM
On Wednesday, December 31, we will close the year with a festive celebration featuring an extensive luxury buffet, rich in hot and cold dishes. Afterwards, a tempting dessert buffet awaits. The buffet starts at 7:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM.

Silver New Year (€149 per person - €35 per child)
Buffet until 11:00 PM in our beautiful banquet hall
Countdown together at midnight
End planned at 12:30 AM
Gold New Year (€189 per person)
Buffet until 11:00 PM in the restaurant
From 11:00 PM, party in the winter bar including drinks (house wine package)

New Year's brunch

On Thursday, January 1st, we would like to welcome you to our festive New Year's brunch. Between 12:30 and 15:00, you can enjoy an extensive brunch buffet with a wide selection of cold and hot dishes, followed by a refined dessert buffet.

Silent Disco Winterbar

On January 10th, we are organizing a silent disco for the first time from 7:30 pm to 12:30 am, with DJ Maarten. Choose your own music style and enjoy a fantastic evening!

Would you like to swim in the "Old Dock" again? This is your chance!
Van der Valk Hotel Mechelen provides a joint warm-up at 11:00 am with coach Isha Peeters on encouraging music. Then you can take a refreshing dip in the old municipal swimming pool of Mechelen. A cup of soup is included in the price. In the hotel, you can use a changing room and a warm shower.
